Our turkeys are given large natural enclosures to walk around in and are fed organic, non-medicated feed.
They are of various heritage breeds and provide a more flavorful and healthy alternative to a factory farms,
artificially inseminated, chemically plumped bird. The breasts are leaner, the meat denser and the
reproduction is natural. These birds do not grow as heavy as the broad brested varieties, but that allows
them to breed naturally and their legs do not collapse under their weight either.
Black and Gray Slates are a lean flavorful meat, perhaps the closest to a wild turkey of what we have here
Naragansettes are, as you can likely tell from the name, a traditional New England style bird, and traditional
bronzes are much the same.
Burbon Reds are a larger bird and have a less dense meat than the slates.
Royal Palms are a decorative turkey, smaller in size than the other breeds and known mainly for their beauty
